Polypropylene Compounds

Polypropylene compound (PP compound) is a polymeric material produced by blending base polypropylene with various additives such as glass fibers, mineral fillers (talc or calcium carbonate), color masterbatches, and thermal or UV stabilizers to enhance its mechanical, thermal, and aesthetic properties according to the intended application. These compounds are typically supplied in pellet form and are used in processes such as injection molding and extrusion. Due to their light weight, suitable strength, high formability, and cost efficiency, PP compounds are widely used in the automotive industry, household appliances, packaging, and the production of industrial components.
